Sustainability Audits

SEI staff and student assistants provided sustainability audits at the Marin Community Foundation and the Center for Regional and Continuing Education at California State University, Chico.  At the Marin Community Foundation, the 2007 audit included a survey of energy, waste, water and transportation elements related to the facility and its 40 occupants.

The market for Clean Energy in the United States is growing rapidly. Nationally and locally our labor force lacks the skills needed to support this industry. SEI is helping to meet this need and taking a lead in assisting the clean energy industry grow its workforce.

Alameda Workforce Investment Board

In the summer of 2010, SEI was hired by the Alameda Workforce Investment Board to help dislocated workers, principally those displaced by the closing of the NUMMI Auto Plant. The goal of this project was to provide information and resource about clean energy career options to potential job seekers.
